Our founder's love for finesse, earth-friendly materials, and well-tailored
bags took her on a journey to explore some of the most amazing alt-
materials to leather and faux leather.
On the quest to find something that mirrors the luxe of leather, versatility
of canvas, durability of jute, the low-impact nature of recycled materials,
and the finish of bespoke tailoring, she set out to find an all-in-one!
Curated with extensive research, numerous interviews, various material
samples, multiple prototyping, design trials, and thorough user-centric
testing performed over a period of 18+ months is what evolved into Joon
Blu.

Each bag we create is made from recycled PET bottle
yarns, keeping thousands of tons of plastic from ending
up in oceans & landfills and gaining a new, durable life
at the same time.
Each bag recycles approximately 30-80 PET bottles.
